How to Import Bookmarks and Settings into Comet Browser

Switching to Comet Browser is quick and simple. You don’t have to lose your saved websites, passwords, or browsing history—everything can be moved from Chrome, Edge, or Safari in just a few steps.

Step-by-Step Guide to Import Data

1. Export Bookmarks (only if required)
Some browsers may need you to first export your bookmarks to an HTML file:

  • Chrome: Menu → Bookmarks Manager → three-dot menu → Export Bookmarks
  • Edge: Favorites → three-dot menu → Export Favorites
  • Safari: File → Export Bookmarks

2. Launch Comet Browser
Open Comet Browser on your Windows PC or Mac.

3. Go to Import Settings

  • Click Menu > Settings > Import Bookmarks and Settings
  • Pick the browser you’re switching from (Chrome, Edge, or Safari)
  • If you exported an HTML file, upload it here when prompted

4. Choose What to Import
Depending on your old browser, you can move over:

  • Bookmarks/Favorites
  • Browsing History
  • Saved Passwords
  • Homepage Settings

5. Finish the Import
Click Import and let Comet transfer your data. Within seconds, your bookmarks and settings will appear in Comet, ready for use.

Tips

  • If you use more than one browser, repeat these steps for each.

  • You can organize, rename, or move bookmarks anytime in Comet’s Bookmark Manager.
